Why it matters
If you run courses on a separate platform, your members maintain two logins, two profiles, and two notification streams. Your course revenue passes through a third-party payment layer that takes a percentage. Your content lives on infrastructure you do not own.
mobieusLearn eliminates that split. The learning system shares the same identity, the same tenant, and the same Stripe connection as the rest of your community. Members sign in once and access forums, courses, help desk, knowledge base, and file libraries from the same account.
mobieusLearn is a full learning management system, not a lightweight course builder and not a thin wrapper around video uploads. The same engine runs single-creator workshops, multi-cohort coaching programs, and compliance-grade training for organizations that take learning records seriously.
Create unlimited courses with structured lesson sequences, sections, and prerequisites. Organize learners into cohorts for timed delivery, group assignments, and cohort-specific discussion forums. Each course has its own gradebook, completion criteria, and enrollment rules. Cohorts also support email campaigns: schedule announcements, reminders, and completion nudges that go out automatically to enrolled learners.
The quiz engine supports multiple choice, true/false, short answer, essay, matching, numerical, drag-and-drop, and embedded-answer (cloze) question types. Configure time limits, attempt limits, randomized question banks, adaptive release, and four grading methods (highest grade, average, first attempt, last attempt). Essays support manual grading with inline annotation.
Accept file submissions (any type, multiple files) or online text submissions with word limits. Grade with rubrics, marking guides, or simple point scales. Rubrics define fixed criteria with point levels per dimension. Marking guides offer flexible feedback forms with adjustable scores. Both are reusable across courses.
Set completion conditions per activity: view the page, submit the assignment, pass the quiz, reach a minimum grade. When a learner meets all conditions, the system marks the course complete and can auto-issue a certificate. Certificates are generated as PDFs with customizable templates. Completion data feeds into reporting and can trigger auto-enrollment in follow-up courses.
mobieusLearn supports SCORM 1.2, SCORM 2004, xAPI (Tin Can API), and cmi5. If you have existing SCORM packages from another LMS, they import and run without modification. xAPI and cmi5 open the door to detailed statement-level learning records that travel with the learner across systems. This matters for regulated industries, corporate training, and any operator who needs more than a pass/fail flag in a gradebook.
Connect external learning tools using the LTI 1.3 Advantage standard. This includes Deep Linking 2.0 (select and configure content from the external tool), Assignment and Grade Services 2.0 (grades sync back to the gradebook), and Names and Role Provisioning 2.0 (the external tool knows who is enrolled). If your workflow depends on a specialized simulation, assessment engine, or content library, LTI lets you plug it in without leaving the LMS.
Beyond the core LMS engine (courses, quizzes, assignments, certificates), mobieusLearn ships with the capabilities most courses end up needing without forcing you to bolt on a separate tool.
Learners on the move get a responsive interface that works on phones and tablets without you doing anything. They can check grades, submit assignments, attempt quizzes, and participate in course discussions from any device. Push notifications cover deadlines, new content, and grade releases on supported clients.
On Pro, you create free courses for your members. On Creator Plus, you sell them.
The course sales flow works like this: create a course offer in the admin panel, set a price, and publish it. A public catalog appears on your community at /learn/courses. Buyers enter their email, proceed to Stripe Checkout (your Stripe account, not ours), and get auto-enrolled after payment. You keep 100% of the course revenue. Zero platform fees on course sales.
Each course offer has a "Grant community membership" option. When enabled, buying the course also creates a community account for the buyer. This lets operators use courses as a community onramp.
